This is a photo that I took of my cousin Mandy a few months ago. Thought it was cute-- thought you might like it! :)

Tattooing As Art In More Than One Way
These photos were taken on my honeymoon. Yes, we got our first tattoos in Mexico. Now, either we've gotten the "aw, that's sweet" line, or it's been, "Are you out of your mind?!". Either way, we appreciate your concern. :) We decided to get the Kanji symbol for 'Love' just above our right ankles...nothing too tacky we had hoped. So, here are the pictures. Enjoy!

Questions...
I got a question on my Facebook account and thought it may be relivant to put it up here too:
Q:
Jessica, your photos are amazing!! I didn't know you were doing that. Did you do any training for photography at all? Did you just start as a hobby and it grew from there? I'd love to hear about it.
A:
It pretty much started as a hobby and grew into a business once I got out of school. I then went for my interview at Prairie View School Of Photography in Winnipeg, got accepted, applied for my student loan-- and therein lies the problem. My husband is self-employed so we had to jump through a lot of hoops just to get a possibility of a student loan, and by the time it was all said and done, I was put on the waiting list for next year. So, I figured, lets go full-force with this thing and see where it takes you and do everything self-taught along the way, and sooner than I would've thought I was booking up all over the place. So, a couple days after I realized that, Prairie View called me and said that there was an opening with my name on it for this fall...and I turned them down. Certificate or not, I'm doing what I love, and so many other people love it too, and I'm doing it sooner than I would be if I were to be in school full-time for the next year!

These were taken last summer. Yes, I honestly put my camera on the tripod and set the timer after posing everybody. ^^,
